6. Project Time Management

This Chapter covers the 7 processes related to Project Time Management. 6 of these processes are concentrated in the Planning Process group while the other one is part of Monitoring and Controlling process group. Creating an activity list, determining activity relationships, estimating durations and resources to create a detailed project schedule is the goal of this knowledge area. The project schedule is monitored and controlled according to the baseline.

This section provides details about the inputs, tools and technqiues needed to come up with a schedule management plan.

This section details the process of coming up with the activity list alongwith discussing about the needed inputs, tools and techniques

SEQUENCE ACTIVITIES
This section details the process of coming up with the activity network diagram from the list of activities identified for the project.
SECTION 6.4
ESTIMATE ACTIVITY RESOURCES
This section details the process of coming up with the activity resource estimates from the list of activities identified for the project.
SECTION 6.5
ESTIMATE ACTIVITY DURATIONS
This section details the process of coming up with the activity duration estimates from the list of activities and resources identified for the project.
SECTION 6.6
DEVELOP SCHEDULE
This section details the process of coming up with the detailed schedule from the other inputs in the time management knowledge area.
SECTION 6.7
CONTROL SCHEDULE
This section details the process of monitoring and controlling the schedule baseline based on performance reviews and effecting process changes.
